We are a 19-piece big band providing swing dance entertainment for benefits, galas, social functions, church festivals, weddings, and private parties. The talented musicians of the NorthStar Big Band have been entertaining audiences across the Twin Cities for over 25 years.

Our music includes Swing (from Early Swing of the 1920s, the Swingin’ Pop of the 50s, the Big Band Orchestras of the 60s, to the recent Swing Pop of the 2000s.), Latin (Samba, Cha-Cha, Bossa Nova), Blues Swing, Ballads, and even some Polkas.
